Led a software consulting firm working with Bloomberg, Goldman Sachs, Ogilvy, IBM, and AT&T. Then co-founded an internet startup with a duo from Bell Labs — optimizing forecasting and scheduling in call centers. Learned about raising capital, selling, partnerships, patents, and boards.

Public Service

The 9/11 attack changed my life. I joined Mike Bloomberg's mayoralty as CIO/CTO and led digital transformation for multiple agencies, delivering systems that improved the safety and health of millions. I was technology team leader for Commissioner Bratton's re-engineering of the NYPD, and a founding architect of the US National Information Exchange Model.

Saving Lives

At Vibrant Emotional Health, I helped scale the organization that operates the National Suicide Lifeline and Veterans Crisis Line. Revenue grew 2.5×, headcount 2×, digital fundraising 4× in three years. I established 988 as the national 3-digit number for suicide prevention — now written into law. 1st place, AWS Hackathon for Good.
